Role Overview:
As a Freelance Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing engaging video content for digital platforms, social media, and marketing campaigns. You should have a creative eye, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit raw video footage into polished and engaging final content.
- Add graphics, animations, text overlays, and sound effects where required.
- Optimize videos for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Collaborate with the creative/marketing team to understand project requirements.
- Ensure brand consistency and storytelling alignment in all edits.
- Deliver projects within agreed timelines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor (freelance or professional).
- Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar).
- Strong sense of storytelling, timing, and visual design.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of audio editing and color grading is a plus.
- A strong portfolio showcasing past video editing work.
