We are seeking a talented and experienced Food Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new food products, improving existing ones, and ensuring that all products meet safety and quality standards. This role involves a deep understanding of food science, creativity in product development, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development: Innovate and develop new food products from concept to commercialization.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all products comply with food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct research on food trends, ingredients, and technologies to improve existing products and processes.
- Food Safety and Compliance: Ensuring adherence to food safety standards and regulations. Maintaining accurate records and documentation including formulations, processes, testing results to support compliance.
- Product Testing , Quality Control and Quality Assessment: Conducting product testing to ensure quality and safety standards are met. QA/QC checks on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods. Working on detailed SOPs for safety, quality, vendor evaluation and logistics.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to the production team, troubleshooting and solving any issues that arise.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and research and development. Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Inspection and audit of vendor facilities and adherence to SOPs.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in food product development or a related role.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in using laboratory, good communication skills.
Remuneration:
If the candidate is identified to be a good match with a proven track record, 10-30% hike from the existing remuneration + incentives.
