We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Food Technologist to join our team at the Bhiwandi Factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new food products, improving existing formulations, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. This role requires a strong foundation in food science, chemistry, and microbiology, along with a passion for culinary innovation and consumer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Development:
- Create and refine recipes and formulations for new food products
- Conduct sensory evaluations and shelf-life studies
- Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Ensure products meet legal, safety, and quality standards
- Implement HACCP and other food safety protocols
- Process Optimization:
- Scale up production from lab trials to full manufacturing
- Collaborate with production teams to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Research & Innovation:
- Stay updated with food technology trends and consumer preferences
- Explore alternative ingredients and sustainable practices
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of formulations, trials, and quality checks
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or related field
- Certifications such as HACCP, FSSAI, or PCQI are a plus
- 2–5 years of experience in food product development or quality control
