Role Overview
The Food Runner is an entry-level position in the Front of House team. The role focuses on ensuring that food and drinks are delivered quickly, accurately, and with care from the kitchen/bar to guests’ tables. This position is designed as a training ground for advancement into Junior Waiter and higher FOH roles. Food Runners will gradually build knowledge of menu items, guest interaction, and service flow under the guidance of senior staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food and drinks from the kitchen/bar to guests efficiently and correctly.
- Ensure dishes are served at the right table, to the right guest, with proper presentation.
- Assist waitstaff in clearing tables, resetting them, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Support in refilling water, providing cutlery, and responding to basic guest requests.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and FOH team to maintain smooth service.
- Uphold hygiene and safety standards at all times.
- Assist with side duties such as polishing cutlery, stocking service stations, and general upkeep.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹12,500.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
