A field recruiter is a professional responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring candidates for positions—typically in high-volume or on-site roles—by working directly in the field, rather than from an office setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Traveling to job fairs, schools, community centers, or client sites to promote job openings.
- Building relationships with local talent pools, community organizations, and employment centers.
- Screening and interviewing candidates on-site or at recruitment events.
- Coordinating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and align recruitment strategies.
- Onboarding new hires, especially in industries like construction, manufacturing, logistics, retail, or hospitality.
