Job Description:
Join as a Field Application Engineer for a fast-growing Analog / Mixed-signal Integrated Circuit Company, Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. Work with Design Engineers and customers in developing power management IC’s and systems level solutions for digital consumer AV, digital imaging, PC peripherals, portable handheld, networking and automotive. This includes new product specification contributions, and customer application support in the field. The individual will support outside sales representatives at customer accounts within a geographic location. This position will involve some travel within a specific region.
Essential Functions:
- Provide technical support to Customers & Sales Channels Partners throughout territory.
- Ensure coordination of technical matters with the Factory in California and design center in Hangzhou, Chengdu as needed
- Manage Joint Development Programs with Customers.
- Discover new potential customer , application and opportunities with introducing right products
- Communicate with HQ for new product(s) promotion activity
- Bring new product ideas for future business development
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in analog power management electronics.
- Excellent communication / interpersonal skills.
- Fluent communication skill (oral/written) in local language
- Oral / written proficiency in the English language.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Self-starter, self-motivated.
- Ability to operate under minimum supervision.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in design power electronics circuit (experience in DC/DC is mandatory, in Motor driver is preferable).
- Understanding of most common power supply architectures, and general PWM IC operation.
- The ability to develop strong relationships with assigned customers.
- The ability to evaluate electronic performance of EVB and customer boards on bench.
