Job Summary:
The Lady Steward is responsible for delivering outstanding service to guests or passengers, maintaining cleanliness and order, and ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment. She represents the organization with professionalism, poise, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist guests or passengers courteously and professionally
- Serve food and beverages, adhering to hygiene and safety standards
- Ensure guest areas (cabins, rooms, dining areas) are clean and well-maintained
- Provide information and attend to guest needs and complaints promptly
- Coordinate with housekeeping and kitchen staff for smooth service operations
- Monitor inventory of supplies and report shortages
- Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Maintain grooming and etiquette standards at all times
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in hospitality is a plus
- Prior experience in hospitality, aviation, cruise, or event services preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Pleasant personality and neat grooming
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
