Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused F&B Executive to join our team in Mysuru, India. As an F&B Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences in our food and beverage outlets.
- Coordinate and oversee opening and closing duties, ensuring all settings meet established standards and procedures
- Supervise and mentor junior team members and casual staff, delegating tasks effectively and maintaining high service standards
- Manage restaurant reservations and cancellations, including daily reconfirmations via phone or email
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, accommodating guest preferences and requirements
- Deliver exceptional food and beverage service in line with departmental standards and procedures
- Ensure all menu items are served according to quality and presentation standards
- Assist in training and developing team members to maintain consistent service excellence
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food and beverage areas
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to resolve any food-related issues promptly
- Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally, seeking timely resolutions
- Participate in inventory management and cost control initiatives
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative service techniques
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness
- Proficient in taking orders and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Knowledge of food and beverage standards, procedures, and service techniques
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and hygiene practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
- Proficiency in restaurant management software
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management is preferred but not required
