Job Description:
The faculty for the health sanitary inspector is responsible for delivering theoretical and practical training to students enrolled in the health sanitary inspector diploma or certification courses. The faculty member plays a key role in students understanding of public health, sanitation practices, waste management, and hygiene monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach subjects related to environmental hygiene, public health law, waste management, communicable disease, and sanitation.
2. Conduct practical training on field inspection techniques, water/food sampling, and disease prevention.
3. Prepare lesson plans, presentations, and course material as per syllabus guidelines.
4. Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and practicals.
5. Guide students during internships or field visits to hospitals, municipal bodies, or PHCs.
6. Organize seminars, health awareness sessions, and workshops.
7. Maintain records of attendance, internal assessment, paper checking, and student progress.
8. Update curriculum content with the latest trends in public health and sanitation.
9. Participate in faculty meetings, academic audits, and professional development activities.
Qualification & Experience:
1. Diploma orDegree in Sanitary Inspection/ Public health/environmental sciences/life sciences.
2. B.SC/M.SC in public health or a related field preferred
Experience:
Minimum 2 to 3yrsof experience in the public health/sanitation sector or teaching experience in a related field.
Skills:
1. Strong subject knowledge in health and sanitation
2. Excellent communication and management skills
3. Ability to deliver both theoretical and practical content effectively.
4. Familiarity with academic tools and digital teaching methods.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
