1. Root Canal Therapy:
- Diagnose and treat issues related to tooth pulp and root tissues, including performing root canal treatments.
2. Endodontic Surgeries:
- Perform surgical procedures such as apicoectomies and other surgical root treatments when necessary.
3. Diagnosis and Treatment Planning:
- Assess the condition of a patient’s teeth, perform diagnostic procedures like X-rays, and create comprehensive treatment plans.
4. Pain Management:
- Administer anesthesia and prescribe appropriate medications to manage pain during and after procedures.
5. Patient Education:
- Educate patients about endodontic treatments, proper post-treatment care, and oral hygiene to prevent future dental issues.
6. Collaborate with General Dentists:
- Work closely with general dentists for referrals, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
7. Emergency Care:
- Provide emergency treatment for tooth injuries, infections, or other urgent dental issues related to the pulp and root.
8. Record Maintenance:
- Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all procedures, medications, and treatment plans.
9. Continual Learning:
- Stay current with advancements in endodontics, including new technologies, techniques, and best practices.
