Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Economics Lecturer to teach students at the Pre-University (PUC) level. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and a student-focused approach. The role involves delivering the prescribed syllabus effectively, preparing students for board exams, and supporting their overall academic development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Economics for 1st and 2nd PUC as per the Karnataka State PU Board curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and class discussions.
- Design lesson plans, assignments, and tests aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Monitor student performance through regular assessments and provide feedback.
- Prepare students for internal assessments, board examinations, and external academic competitions (if applicable).
- Maintain academic records including attendance and assessment data.
- Provide academic counseling and support to students as needed.
- Stay updated with current economic trends and integrate real-world examples into teaching.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty for curriculum development and other academic initiatives.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher interactions, and school events.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Master’s Degree in Economics (M.A. Economics) from a recognized university.
- Preferred: B.Ed.
- Prior teaching experience at the PUC or higher secondary level is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Karnataka PU Board syllabus and teaching practices.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent subject knowledge and classroom management.
- Ability to explain economic concepts in a clear, student-friendly manner.
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools and MS Office.
- Commitment to student success and continuous learning.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
