Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize daily dispatch schedules based on delivery orders.
- Coordinate with production, stores, and sales departments for dispatch readiness.
- Prepare and verify dispatch-related documents such as invoices, e-way bills, packing lists, delivery challans, and transport LR.
- Liaise with transporters and logistics partners to ensure timely pickup and delivery.
- Ensure proper loading, packaging, and labeling of consignments.
- Monitor vehicle movements and track shipments until final delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatched goods and update the system/ERP regularly.
- Handle issues like transportation delays, damages, or discrepancies and resolve them efficiently.
- Comply with safety and statutory guidelines during loading and transportation.
- Provide regular dispatch reports to management.
Key Skills Required:
- Knowledge of dispatch processes and logistics operations.
- Familiarity with e-way bills, GST invoices, and transport documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, or ERP systems.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple dispatches under tight deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Graduate in any discipline (Commerce/Logistics/Operations preferred).
- Experience: 1–4 years in a dispatch/logistics/executive role.
- Industry Preference: Manufacturing, FMCG, Logistics, Warehousing, Steel, Cement, etc.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience working in a manufacturing plant or warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with transporters, local delivery networks, and route planning.
- Understanding of basic inventory control and stock movement tracking.
