Job Overview:
We are seeking an organized and customer-focused Courier Operations & Customer Support Executive to handle courier-related complaints, extra weight charge disputes and general shipping inquiries for our eCommerce operations. In this role, you will serve as the point of contact between our company, customers, and courier partners, ensuring timely resolutions and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Courier Complaint Resolution:
- Address customer complaints related to delayed deliveries, lost packages or damaged goods.
- Work with courier companies to investigate issues and resolve disputes promptly.
- Extra Weight Charge Disputes:
- Handle issues regarding extra weight charges by couriers and liaise with them to resolve discrepancies.
- Review shipping documentation and ensure accurate weight calculations.
- Customer Communication:
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding shipping issues, including delays or tracking errors.
- Respond to customer queries via email, phone or chat, maintaining a professional and calm demeanor.
- Courier Coordination:
- Coordinate with courier partners (both domestic and international) to ensure smooth shipments.
- Monitor delivery timelines and follow up on late deliveries to ensure they reach the customer as soon as possible.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain records of all courier complaints, weight disputes and resolution outcomes.
- Prepare reports on common courier issues to help identify recurring problems and improve future processes.
- Problem Solving:
- Investigate and identify solutions for recurring logistical issues to improve the overall courier experience.
- Suggest process improvements to optimize delivery timelines and reduce charge disputes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 6 month of experience in customer service, logistics or eCommerce operations (preferably in handling courier-related issues).
- Familiarity with popular courier services like FedEx, DHL, Delhivery, Blue Dart, DTDC, Ekart or India Post.
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to manage complaints and difficult situations effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Basic understanding of eCommerce platforms and shipment tracking tools.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work well within deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.
- Familiarity with logistics software tools like Shiprocket, Shipway or Delhivery Partner Portal.
- A background in managing supply chain, inventory, or shipping operations is a plus.
