Position Purpose
To ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all employees by providing medical support, managing occupational health services, responding to medical emergencies, and ensuring compliance with health regulations within the chemical industry setting.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of health and wellness policies aligned with industry standards and legal regulations.
- Assist in identifying potential occupational health hazards and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintain readiness for emergency medical response in alignment with organizational safety strategies.
- Participate in the formulation of health-related SOPs and their continuous improvement.
Operational Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care during incidents or injuries on site.
- Maintain health records and medical histories of all employees and ensure their confidentiality.
- Conduct regular health checks and coordinate medical examinations as per company and statutory requirements.
- Administer prescribed medications and support chronic condition management for workers.
- Assist in the implementation of vaccination programs and hygiene awareness campaigns.
- Inspect and maintain medical supplies and first aid kits across the site.
- Collaborate with HSE teams to report and investigate workplace injuries or illnesses.

- Educate employees on health and hygiene practices to promote a healthy work environment.
- Foster trust and confidence among workers by providing compassionate and professional medical care.
- Liaise with external medical professionals, hospitals, and emergency responders when needed.
- Support wellness initiatives and employee assistance programs (EAPs).
Education Qualification
B.Sc. in Nursing or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)

3-6 years of experience
