Job Summary:
We are looking for a Cloud Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure cloud network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud platforms, network architecture, and cybersecurity best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure cloud network architectures across platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, security groups, and network access control lists (ACLs).
- Monitor cloud environments for security threats and vulnerabilities using SIEM and cloud-native tools.
- Implement and maintain cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct risk assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS) and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Maintain documentation of network security configurations and incident response procedures.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security services.
- Experience with network protocols, routing, and firewall configurations.
- Proficiency in tools like AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, etc.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation.
- Understanding of Zero Trust architecture and secure access models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or CISSP.
- Experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
