About the client: Our client is a US subsidiary of a global financial house working in multiple markets and asset classes.
Our team: Rapidly expanding 140+ strong distributed teams developing and supporting a range of client projects and requirements.
About the project: We are currently looking to expand our team with an IT Asset Coordinator, who will join the US-based client's IT Asset Management team.
As the IT Asset coordinator, you will have a critical operational role within the client's technology department. The primary function is to continuously review the IT Asset team queue for software and other requests that flow into this queue, reach out to vendors for quotes, and submit requisitions into the Oracle system. You will also be responding to emails from our users who may sometimes request something via the email system. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting risk and audit goals.
The candidate would be required to work 9am - 5pm EST
Luxoft team operates in WFH mode mainly.
Responsibilities
Review, manage, and make recommendations toward expiring maintenance contracts
Submit and manage POs into Oracle Financials
Manage the IT Asset Management team request queue
Assess each new request received and communicate expectations with users
Manage purchase order requisitions through final approval
Submit POs to vendors
Generate and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review
Work closely with infrastructure team members to obtain any missing required details

Must have
Keen attention to detail is a must
Experience in IT Asset Management and Asset Control
Experience in Asset management
Experience with working in Service Now
Experience managing third-party contract renewals and entitlements
At least some IT background
Good Interpersonal skills
IT Help Desk or desktop support experience would be a benefit
Understanding of IT hardware and software
Strong Customer Service skills
Team-oriented with excellent communication skills required
Ability to multi-task
Strong Communication skills (English) both verbal and written
Strong organizational and time management skills
Familiarity with ticketing systems required
Must have the ability to prioritize and work within a deadline
2+ years working experience
Nice to have
ITIL Foundations certification would be a bonus
