We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil & Interior Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing accurate 2D and 3D drawings for civil structures and interior layouts, working closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth design execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural, civil, and interior design drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
- Create floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D views as required
- Coordinate with engineers, site teams, and interior designers for drawing updates and modifications
- Interpret client requirements and translate them into accurate technical drawings
- Maintain drawing documentation and ensure version control
- Visit project sites for measurement and verification when needed
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 2+ years of proven experience in civil and interior drafting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or 3ds Max is a plus
- Strong knowledge of construction and interior design detailing
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Good communication skills in English and Malayalam
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Bonus Skills (Preferred)
- Experience with BOQ preparation and site coordination
- Knowledge of Vastu and local building regulations
- Basic understanding of MEP drawings
