Role Summary:
SGIS is seeking a skilled and passionate Physics & Chemistry Teacher to teach Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A-Level curriculum. The candidate must have prior experience with the CAIE (Cambridge) syllabus and be capable of delivering high-quality instruction in both subjects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Physics, Chemistry, or related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed)
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching CAIE IGCSE and A-Level Physics & Chemistry
- Strong understanding of Cambridge assessment patterns and lab work
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Responsibilities:
- Teach Physics and Chemistry at IGCSE and A-Level
- Prepare lesson plans, conduct practicals, and assess student performance
- Guide students for board exams and academic competitions
- Participate in school events, training, and department planning
