Position Overview:
We are hiring Pastry Chefs at various levels (Fresher to Mid-level) for our Central Kitchen in Pune. The role involves preparing high-quality pastries, cakes, and desserts while maintaining hygiene and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a wide variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, and other baked goods following standard recipes and techniques.
- Assist in the production and daily kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and kitchen area.
- Ensure quality control and presentation standards are consistently met.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation guidelines as per company SOP.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and supervisors to meet production timelines.
- Maintain stock levels and inform kitchen in-charge of inventory needs.
Requirements:
- 0 to 5 years of relevant experience in pastry or bakery production (hotel, bakery, or culinary school background preferred).
- Passionate about baking and dessert making.
- Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced central kitchen environment.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
- Attention to detail, cleanliness, and consistency in product quality.
