We are looking a Billing Executive for Siliguri location candidate having minimum 3 years’ experience as a billing executive.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Invoice Preparation and Processing:
- Generate and issue accurate invoices based on sales/purchase orders or service delivery.
- Ensure invoices are aligned with company policies and client agreements.
- Payment Tracking and Reconciliation:
- Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely payments from clients.
- Reconcile billing records with accounting and bank statements.
- Client Communication:
- Communicate with clients to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
- Send payment reminders and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Record Maintenance:
- Maintain and update billing records, ledgers, and databases.
- Keep accurate documentation for audits and financial reporting.
- Coordination with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with sales, finance, and customer service departments.
- Coordinate to resolve any discrepancies between services rendered and invoices raised.
Additional Duties:
- Generate billing reports and summaries for management.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws (GST, VAT, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, or a related field
Required Skills:
- Attention to detail and high accuracy.
· Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in billing/accounting software (e.g., Tally, Excel & Google Sheet).
- Time management and organizational abilities.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
