Job Title: AV Technician

We are looking for a skilled AV Technician to support the setup, installation, testing, and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for project-based assignments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AV integration, troubleshooting, and commissioning at client sites, ensuring timely and quality execution of AV installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure audio-visual equipment such as projectors, video walls, speakers, microphones, amplifiers, displays, and control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX, Extron).
- Read and interpret AV system schematics, layout drawings, and project plans.
- Execute cable pulling, termination (HDMI, VGA, CAT6, audio, fiber), and testing.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and clients for on-site work execution.
- Conduct on-site testing and commissioning of AV systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot AV issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and project timelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and service records.
- Provide technical support and training to end users when needed.
- Maintain tools, inventory, and AV equipment in good working condition.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Proven experience as an AV technician or in a similar role (minimum 2–4 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of AV systems (audio, video, control) and integration standards.
- Familiarity with brands like Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, Shure, Poly, Cisco, etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
