The AutoCAD Faculty plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality instruction and training in AutoCAD software to students pursuing courses in engineering, architecture, design, and related fields. The faculty member will be responsible for designing and delivering curriculum, conducting hands-on training sessions, and assessing student progress to ensure successful learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update curriculum and course materials for AutoCAD training programs based on industry trends and best practices.
- Plan and deliver lectures, workshops, and lab sessions to teach students the fundamentals and advanced concepts of AutoCAD software.
- Provide hands-on instruction and guidance to students on using AutoCAD tools and techniques for drafting, modeling, and design projects.
- Create assignments, projects, and assessments to evaluate student understanding and proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Offer individualized support and assistance to students to address their learning needs and challenges.
- Foster an engaging and interactive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and updates in AutoCAD software and related technologies.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and academic staff to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the AutoCAD training program.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for program improvements to meet the evolving needs of students and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress throughout the course.
Basic Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (Plus Two/12th grade).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Empathy: Ability to understand and empathize with the challenges students face.
- Organizational Skills: Effective organization and time management skills.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in using computer applications for record-keeping and communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, design, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software with extensive hands-on experience in drafting, modeling, and design.
- Previous teaching or training experience in AutoCAD or related technical subjects is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
