Role: AV Subject Matter Expert
Location: Pune, India (on client site)
Salary: Negotiable (Dependent on experience), plus company benefits
Hours: Monday - Friday; 40 hours a week; a shift-based system with rotational shifts:
Shift I - 6 AM to 3 PMShift II - 9 AM - 6 PM
Shift III - 10 AM -7 PM
Sunday (Night) - 10 PM - 7 AM
(should be open to working weekends as necessary against compensatory off days during the working week)

We now have a brand new opportunity for an Audio Visual Subject Matter Expert / Lead Service Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for AV systems including Crestron, QSC, Appspace, Vbrick, Cisco, and Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR).
In this role, you will focus on advanced troubleshooting, ticket resolution, and remote guidance for on-site engineers. You will contribute to the efficiency and reliability of AV services by delivering high-quality support and maintaining documentation.
This is a technical role focused solely on AV troubleshooting, execution and problem-solving.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver advanced remote technical support for AV systems across global locations
Troubleshoot and resolve issues using tools such as Crestron Toolbox, Q-SYS Designer, MTR Admin Center, etc.
Provide real-time support and step-by-step guidance to on-site engineers for physical interventions when required
Identify recurring issues and document technical insights for team reference
Work closely with fellow AV SMEs, network engineers, and stakeholders to resolve complex technical problems
Support escalation processes by providing timely and thorough responses to high-priority issues, under the guidance of the team lead
Assist in creating and updating internal documentation, including FAQs, playbooks, and troubleshooting guides
Contribute technical insights and lessons learned to support the broader AV support team
Use Crestron Toolbox and associated tools (SMPL Debugger, Text Console, DM Tool, etc.) for remote diagnostics
Troubleshoot issues with Crestron control panels, processors, and switchers
Support firmware updates and configuration reviews as directed
Troubleshoot Q-SYS audio signal flow, DSP issues, and network conflicts
Use Q-SYS Designer Software to remotely investigate and resolve AV concerns
Diagnose issues related to digital signage content, playback, and scheduling
Manage Appspace user configurations and troubleshoot display integrations remotely
Support live and on-demand video streaming troubleshooting.
Monitor and configure encoder settings and stream delivery pathways.
Troubleshoot Cisco video endpoints and room systems (Webex Rooms, codecs, touch panels)
Remotely troubleshoot MTR peripherals (displays, cameras, microphones)
Resolve issues with call quality, connectivity, and meeting platform integration
Skills and experience:
Solid corporate experience, with a proven background in providing AV technical support
Advanced knowledge of Crestron, Q-SYS, Appspace, Vbrick, Cisco, and MTR systems, covering control, audio, video, and network integration.
Experience with Crestron Toolbox & Q-SYS Designer is mandatory
Strong troubleshooting skills for complex hardware, software, and network issues across AV platforms
Ability to clearly explain technical details to team members, clients, and stakeholders
Certifications: CTS, Crestron, QSC, or Microsoft certifications are preferred.
