We're looking for a proactive and results-oriented Talent Business Partner to join our people team at Thoughtworks. This pivotal role involves managing all people engagement initiatives throughout the employee lifecycle, aligning with Thoughtworks' business and people strategies. You'll be the face of the Thoughtworks people team, connecting with our people, linking them to our business, fostering an engaged workplace culture, acting as an employee advocate, and building credible, trustworthy relationships. The role involves high levels of consultation and collaboration with different levels of stakeholders
Job responsibilities
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Function as the single point of contact for employees on all HR matters, managing expectations in line with our employment brand, business direction, and people charter.
- New Joiner Integration: Partner closely to ensure seamless integration of new Thoughtworkers into our teams and culture.
- People Engagement & Culture: Instill energy and enthusiasm in the workplace through direct ownership of people initiatives. Continuously assess the employee pulse and cultural climate, proactively identifying issues, and collaborating with various stakeholders for resolution. Participate in the design and own the deployment of HR deliverables and employee initiatives focused on satisfaction and engagement.
- Employee Advocacy & Relations: Handle people queries, grievances, concerns, issue resolution, and emergency situations, ensuring workplace welfare and adherence to statutory requirements.
- Performance & Career Management: Manage the performance review process, driving a feedback culture, ensuring the quality of appraisals, and timely closure. Identify and implement improvements where necessary. Facilitate the organization’s career management framework through coordination with resource management teams, HR, and employees.
- Compensation & Benefits: Deploy and provide inputs for compensation and benefits policies and processes.
- HR Analytics & Reporting: Facilitate HRMIS and reporting requirements through data collation and validation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration & Leadership Support: Support recruitment needs and leadership development programs as required.Collaborate amongst teams to solve people concerns and support other activities.
- Policy & Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and company policies.
Job qualifications
Technical Skills
- 3-5 yrs of experience in the HRBP role.
- Experienced in HR policy and practice deployment and adherence.
Professional Skills
- Ability to multi-task and drive items to closure through well-honed planning & organizing. Proactive in nature, going out of the way to learn and contribute.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with people at various levels, with sound influencing capability. High levels of interpersonal effectiveness and maturity.
- Out-of-the-box thinking to boost employee morale. Natural ability to operate with integrity and confidentiality.
- Experienced in employee relations and problem-solving.
- Proven ability to operate as part of a team as well as independently.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex people situations, handle external vendors and client vendors.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and experience in handling a few change management programs.
