Associate Mechanical Design - BU EFT - Position no. (1)
Your responsibilities and tasks:
Associate Mechanical Design -EFT (1)
Realization of 3D models of mechanical components
- 3D modeling of mechanical assemblies and machines
- Execution of 2D drawings of components mechanical components, understanding the function of the component in the assembling to define the proper drawing dimensioning, and checking the 3D models whole correctness
- Making of 2D drawings of unfolded metal sheet parts
- Realization of general assembly drawings of machines and sub-systems, with identification of part lists and technical instructions
- Very good knowledge of 3D modeling SW (Creo Elements Direct Modeling 18.1 and Autodesk Inventor) PDM systems (ECS e Autodesk Vault)
- Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA to: visualize BoMs, materials search, drawings visualization
Your profile and qualifications:
Language skills:
- Proficient in written and spoken English, including common technical language
- Very good knowledge of European Engineering Drawing and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Standards
- Good knowledge of manufacturing process of mechanical components (lathing, milling, sheet metal cutting and bending, welding…) and thermal treatments for various materials
- Knowledge of material selection (mild, high alloy, stainless steels, plastic materials…) accordingly to the functional and food contact requirements and European Standard designation
- Knowledge of European safety-related standards (i.e. UNI EN ISO 14122, UNI EN ISO 13857)
- Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering
- 5 – 8 years of experience in the field of mechanical design **
- Experience in Machinery / Equipment design, sheet metal component design will be added advantage
- Willing to pick up a study in Bakery Equipment and Processes
- Knowledge of CAD systems (Inventor, Vault Pro, AutoCAD-Mechanical)
- Able to read Approved Design Specification Documents
- Experience in MS Office
- Excellent communication in English language – written and oral
- Knowledge of Italian language is an added advantage
