What will you be doing?
As part of our select, highly skilled team, you will focus on capital equipment valuation, helping managers and investors navigate complex valuation issues across various industries. Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage large and complex capital asset valuation engagements on across Australia and international valuations.
- Build, set-up and review models for tangible asset valuation and asset due diligence.
- Analyze market information on companies, industries, transactions and assets to identify key performance metrics and value drivers.
- Draft and review valuation reports outlining the analysis, key assumptions, and valuation findings.
- Deliver valuations for tax, stamp duty purposes and accounting and reporting purposes.
- Mentor and train junior team members within the team.
Core Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in capital equipment valuation, financial due diligence, audit, corporate finance, M&A, transaction advisory, or a related field.
- Prior experience in performing plant & equipment / machinery / capital equipment / tangible asset valuations, with an understanding of market trends.
- CA or CFA or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong writing skills and experience with developing presentations and reports using PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Effective project management and organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a team-oriented environment.
- Ambitious, results-driven, self-starter with a desire to thrive in a collaborative entrepreneurial culture.
- Strong analytical (quantitative and qualitative) and report writing skills.
- Ability to build robust relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
- Recent and relevant experience working in a Big 4 consultancy or valuation type environment.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
