Area Engineer - Capex & Budget Monitoring

To ensure effective planning & monitoring of approved Capex Projects, through the Investment Governance Framework Process. Co-ordinate & assist for project approvals, monitoring of budget, status of all approved projects including project closure and capitalization. 

1. ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

ACTIVITIES

Assist in Tracking of Proposal & Co-ordination with approving authorities at different stages for timely approvals of Capex proposals

Weekly tracking of pending MOC/DPI at various stages 

Assist in Monitoring of Capex Budget.

Systems, Policies & Procedures:

Prepare for development & improvement of system to create a management framework with the capability to achieve targeted levels of reliability.                   

Assist in Developing and implement systems, procedures and policies for management process through which strategic goals are set and achieved, 

Assist in Finalization of Guidelines / SOP for Capex & Budget Monitoring

Assist and Coordinate for providing inputs/information for updating the MIS report as per requirement of Capex Planning, Budget & Monitoring purpose.

Assist in Managing weekly/monthly reports and circulate it to concern departments and Management as well.  

Monitoring of Capex

Assist in coordinating with PMC team and other Departments for Capex projects status 

Assist in regular update of the Capex Tracking sheet involving ABP Cost, Approved Project cost, Actual consumption, PR-Commitment etc.

Creation of Project in SAP PS for all approved Projects as per DOA.

Allocation of Budget in SAP PS for approved Projects as per MOC Portal.

Assist in updating the payment data in the Master file of Refinery Capex Projects.

Assist in Preparation of 4-month Capex cash flow projections.

Assist in WBS to WBS Budget Transfer for Approved projects; as per the request received from user department.

Assist in analyzing the Cost over-run of approved Projects before putting up for final approval as per DOA.

Assist in preparation of Monthly MPR ppt after taking inputs from within the team.

Ensure 100% HSEF training as per the company guidelines.

Ensure proper safety training for all workmen, if deputed for a short period under projects as per the guidelines of Project Manager.

To ensure adherence to the health, safety, and environment systems during at workplace.

Ensure 100% housekeeping of work area.

To ensure compliance of EMS 14001.
