We are seeking a talented architect to join our team and contribute to our innovative shipping container home designs. As an architect, you will be responsible for designing and planning unique residential structures using shipping containers as primary building modules. Your expertise and creative vision will play a vital role in transforming these containers into functional and aesthetically appealing living spaces. This position requires you to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality design solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients, draftsmen, engineers, and project stakeholders to understand project objectives, requirements, and constraints.
- Create innovative and sustainable design concepts for shipping container homes, considering factors such as functionality, aesthetics, structural integrity, and cost-efficiency.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Research and ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and zoning requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team during implementation, addressing any design-related issues that may arise.
- Stay updated with emerging trends, materials, and technologies in architecture and sustainable design.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience as an architect, with a focus on residential projects.
- Strong proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering tools.
- Basic understanding of building codes, regulations, and zoning requirements.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
