Role Summary
A Pump Assembly Fitter is responsible for assembling, testing, and sometimes repairing pumps and related equipment, often following detailed instructions and specifications.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Assembling pumps from individual components, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
- Conducting tests to verify pump performance and adherence to quality standards.
- Disassembling, repairing, and reassembling pumps as needed, including replacing worn or damaged parts.
- Completing necessary paperwork, such as work orders, inspection reports, and checklists.
- Maintaining high-quality standards throughout the assembly and repair process.
- Following safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Identifying and resolving issues during assembly or testing.
- Participating in efforts to improve processes and reduce costs.
- ITI with 5yrs experience in pump assembly.
