About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and technically sound AI/ML Engineer (Fresher) who has a strong foundational understanding of Python, machine learning concepts, and AI development techniques. The ideal candidate should demonstrate hands-on knowledge in building basic ML models, working with datasets, and understanding modern AI systems like LLMs, Hugging Face, RAG, and AI agents.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on real-world AI/ML projects and build expertise in cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of machine learning models for classification, regression, or prediction tasks.
- Perform data preprocessing tasks, including cleaning missing data and transforming features using list comprehension or other Pythonic techniques.
- Work with Python dictionaries, lists, and NumPy arrays to manipulate and analyze data efficiently.
- Understand and implement training-testing splits, model evaluation metrics, and gradient-based optimization (e.g., gradient descent).
- Apply regularization techniques to avoid model overfitting.
- Use libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
- Experiment with Hugging Face models and possibly work with local LLMs.
- Explore AI agent workflows including RAG-based systems, prompt engineering, and data-driven learning.
- Support the identification of anomalies or fraud data patterns using statistical or ML methods.
- Stay updated with current AI applications and technologies.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Python with good understanding of:
- Decorators, list comprehensions, dictionaries, and data structures.
- Libraries: NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn.
- Understanding of:
- Classification vs. Regression problems.
- Training vs. Testing data in ML.
- Gradient Descent and model optimization.
- Regularization techniques and their impact.
- Basic knowledge of:
- Local LLMs, Hugging Face ecosystem.
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI agent concepts.
- AI applications such as fraud detection, recommendation systems, etc.
