Role Overview:
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic 2D Paneling Intern to assist in the visual layout and composition of manga or anime storyboard panels. This role is ideal for budding artists who understand the visual language of manga/anime and are eager to learn the storytelling craft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create clean, readable 2D panel layouts based on scripts or rough storyboards.
- Collaborate with writers, illustrators, and directors to ensure panel flow matches narrative tone and pacing.
- Maintain consistency in visual storytelling and character positioning.
- Assist with layout cleanups and applying finishing touches like SFX placement or background blocking.
- Meet internal deadlines and adapt to revisions as needed.
Requirements:
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of manga paneling or anime storyboard layout.
- Familiarity with tools like Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, or similar digital drawing software.
- Understanding of visual pacing, camera angles, and storytelling techniques in manga/anime.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Portfolio or sample work demonstrating paneling/layout skills.
